Spinach Salad with Warm Maple Bacon Dressing

Fresh spinach, crispy bacon, and a sweet maple dressing make this Spinach Salad with Warm Maple Bacon Dressing a real treat. It's the right mix of tastes and textures, so it can be a meal or a side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a large salad bowl, place the fresh spinach leaves

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until it becomes crispy

Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease

In the same skillet, add the olive oil, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar

Stir and cook for about 2 minutes until the dressing is warm and slightly thickened

Pour the warm maple bacon dressing over the spinach in the salad bowl

Add the red onion, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and crumbled feta cheese to the salad bowl

Toss everything together gently to coat the spinach and other ingredients with the dressing

Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste

Serve immediately as a delicious and warm spinach salad

Enjoy!
